부러진 날개 Broken Wings

나는 부모가 감옥에 있는 아이들의 삶에 대한 이야기로 가득찬 세움 이야기를 꽤 오랜 시간 읽었다. 내가 만약 이 아이들의 입장이었다면 나는 아마 살 용기가 없었을 것이다. 하지만, 나는 이 아이들이 나와 같은 생각을 하는 것을 원하지 않는다.

다른 곤충들과 다르게, 나비는 날개가 부러져도 살아남을 수 있다. 날개가 찢어진 나비는 희망을, 하늘의 나비들은 순수함을 상징한다. 나는 의도적으로 하늘과 땅의 나비들이 극명한 대조를 가질 수 있게 만들었다. 하지만 다른 곳에서 날아다니는 이 나비들은 모두 같은 꽃에서 꿀을 먹으며 살아간다. 결과적으로, 그들의 날개가 부러졌든 안 부러졌든, 그들은 여전히 살 수 있다. 이 그림을 통해 나는 이 아이들에게 절대로 살아갈 용기를 잃지 말라고 말하고 싶었다.

I read stories about the lives of children in prison for quite a long time. If I had been in these children's shoes, I probably wouldn't have the courage to live. But I don't want these kids to think the same as I do.

Butterflies, unlike other insects, can survive breakage. Butterflies with torn wings symbolize hope, and butterflies in the sky symbolize purity. I deliberately made a sharp contrast between heaven and earth butterflies. However, all these butterflies fly around in different places, eating nectar from the same flower. In the end, whether their wings break or not, they can still live. Through this picture, I wanted to tell these children never to lose the courage to live.
