Eyes Do Speak
I drew a pair of eyes that simulates a person’s mouth, which is intended to make a connection from people’s disdaining stares to discriminating remarks. I deliberately portrayed an eye-like mouth as if it is drooling or growling so that it appears to be offensive, attacking someone. But on a different view, the mouth-like eye cries out a tear from being attacked.
We must embrace our differences. It is the only way to claim the individual’s freedom and demand respect from each other.
